uZEC is a tokenized implementation of Zcash (ZEC) designed to enable trading and DeFi utility across multiple blockchains including Base, Polygon, Arbitrum and Solana. uZEC is backed 1:1 with underlying ZEC reserves and can be minted and redeemed anytime. uZEC is minted by providing native ZEC to the Universal protocol and uZEC can be redeemed for underlying native ZEC by burning uZEC and sending to a zcash address.
