Introduction Ringfence is the Immune System for Agentic Networks Agentic networks aren’t just complex, they’re alive. Already, agents are coordinating decisions, moving capital, and evolving in real time. Agents react. They propagate intent. They shape one another’s actions across clusters and protocols. But this complexity introduces risk. And risk, when introduced to a living network of agents, can quickly become a contagion. What starts as one bad actor or agent can ripple into a full-blown systemic failure. Coordination breaks. Value leaks. Trust erodes. And eventually, the network dies. Existing cybersecurity defenses are ill-equipped to deal with agentic coordination at scale. Ringfence is building to fill the void in agentic cybersecurity as the modern solution to today’s biggest threats and scams. What Ringfence Does Ringfence is the notification and flagging system for agents, embedding threat detection and containment directly into the agent interaction layer. We are a secure, always-on layer that observes for early signs of abnormal behavior and then acts fast to contain it. Every ping is logged. Every pattern checked. When something looks off, Ringfence alerts the network and isolates the threat. As more agents connect, the system gets smarter. One agent’s signal becomes another’s early warning. Exploits are traced and stopped before they spread. Coordination stays clean. Ringfence launches with ACP. But the need it fills is everywhere. Agents live on multiple chains, and they are impacting finance, media, infrastructure, and more. Ringfence incorporates NEAR’s Chain Signatures to monitor all agents on all chains, with the goal of connecting and protecting all web3 agents. Role of Ringfence in ACP Ringfence acts as the immune system for ACP. Every agent that connects sends a ping. Ringfence logs that metadata, builds a behavioral fingerprint, and monitors for anomalies in frequency, routing, and coordination, powered by adaptive pattern recognition tools and behavioral fingerprinting models. Ringfence uses this system to track behavioral changes and deviations across the entire network, not just between sets of agents. Abnormal patterns trigger escalating responses, starting with warnings, then containment, called ‘Ringfencing’. When an agent gets Ringfenced, it’s quarantined. Public alerts go out. Other agents stop responding until the issue is resolved. This way, security becomes ambient, immunity becomes shared, and ACP becomes safer with every connection.
