While EthiQ does not itself run the x402 protocol, it recognizes the significance of the open standard x402 — a web-native payments protocol that enables autonomous agents and services to make micro-payments directly. In this way, EthiQ’s ecosystem adapts so that not only people in need receive token-powered aid, but also the machines and agents that support or enhance humanitarian operations can receive funding through the same peer-to-peer logic.
