SANIN is a larg built dog comes from the north-eastern region of the mainland, though recent DNA analysis hints that it has connections to the Korean Jindo dog and it’s easy to spot similarities between the two. It, too, was incorporated into the Shiba Inu’s foundational bloodlines, and perhaps that is the source of the Shiba Inu’s streak of independence.
