In the 1991 computer game “Space Quest” there were two different in-game currencies the world was introduced to: “Buckazoid” and “Selenazoid.” Buckazoid, described as “the base currency that was prone to wild price swings and inflation,” and Selenazoid the “rarest and most valuable currency of the galaxy,” from “the planet Kerona.” Selenazoid had several unmistakable similarities and features (from coloring to shape) as the cryptocurrency Solana…yet Solana wouldn’t emerge in the public sphere until decades later. The lore is unquestionable, the similarities—mind blowing, and the future: It belongs to Selenazoid.
